Business administration bachelors programs usually cover accounting, finance, marketing, management, business law, economics, statistics, and operations, with concentrations such as management, human resources, or entrepreneurship. Degrees are typically a Bachelor of Business Administration or a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Curriculum varies by institution, and course titles vary more than content does. Compare the published degree plans of two or three programs side by side rather than relying on the concentration names.

Accreditation and what to verify

Institutional accreditation is required; programmatic business accreditation from AACSB, ACBSP, or IACBE is optional and held by some online programs. It matters most to students planning graduate business study at institutions that prefer it. No license follows from the degree.
